The honest truth about dishonesty

"If golfers want to abuse the system, there is always a way of doing so. It's just the fact that they can get away with it and are not punished when 'rumbled' that is so annoying"

Golfers in Ireland, the UK and Europe have been given an invitation they’ll find hard to refuse – 15 days’ unlimited golf playing some of Lisbon’s finest courses for less than €300.

To celebrate summer, Orizonte – Lisbon Golf, Portugal’s largest golf management group, has launched a ‘Summer Golf Passport’, with players being offered the chance to play as many rounds as they like during a 15-day period for just €299 per person.

Available from now until September 15, the passport features access to any of Orizonte’s six outstanding 18-hole championship courses close to the Portuguese capital in the beautiful Costa Azul region.

Included among its layouts are Quinta do Peru Golf & Country Club, the two courses at Ribagolfe – regarded as some of the finest in the Lisbon region and previously described as the ‘Valderrama of Portugal’ – and Aroeira, twice the venue for the Portuguese Open and recently included in a list of Continental Europe’s Top 100 Golf Resorts.

Golfers can combine the offer by taking advantage of Orizonte’s ‘Buggy Passport’, with 15 days’ unlimited use of a buggy available for an additional €245 per person, while other eye-catching packages that can be booked this summer include three-round passports for €159 per person and five-round deals for €255).

Orizonte – Lisbon Golf provides golfers with the opportunity to play six of the leading courses in close proximity to Portugal’s capital in the stunning Costa Azul, together with exceptional value for money on a wide range of accommodation options.
