Over 40 Irish golfers will be in action at this week’s Scottish Boys’ and Girls’ Open Championships at West Kilbride and Arbroath respectively.
U18 Boys HP panellists John Doyle (Fota Island), Adam Fahey (Portmarnock), Rory Gallagher (Galway Bay), Louis Goodman (Co Louth), Stuart Nesbitt (Royal Portrush), Isaac Oliver (Glasson) and William O’Riordan (Greystones)?will make the trip.
From the U18 Girls HP Panel Lucy Grattan (Tralee), Hannah Lee-McNamara (Royal Portrush), Zoe McLean-Tattan (Romford), Gemma McMeekin (Royal Portrush), Kayleigh Mulholland (Moyola Park), Niamh O’Grady (Royal Dublin) and Róisín Scanlon (Woburn) will all be in action.
The Scottish Boys’ Open Championships begins on Wednesday with 18 holes played on the first two days. After 36 holes, the leading 40 competitors and ties returning the lowest gross scores, will play a further 36 holes.
The Scottish Girls’ Open Championships also takes place from 9 April with the leading 60 competitors and ties after 36 holes playing a further 18 holes on the final day.
