Bryson DeChambeau’s team have approached DP World Tour officials about additional European circuit appearances, according to a report in The Telegraph by James Corrigan, as several high-profile players continue departing LIV Golf.

The two-time U.S. Open champion is not understood to be pursuing full DP World Tour membership at this stage. Instead, discussions centre on the possibility of competing in more events outside the majors.

The timing coincides with growing departures from the breakaway league. Jon Rahm has already walked away, citing the proposed terms for LIV’s planned 2.0 version as “unacceptable.” Fellow Spaniards David Puig and Sergio Garcia have also exited, while reports indicate that players including Adrian Meronk, Cameron Smith, and Rahm’s Legion XIII teammates Tom McKibbin, Tyrrell Hatton and Caleb Surratt are evaluating their own positions.

DeChambeau himself has offered little public comment on his longer-term plans. Meanwhile, private equity firm BC Partners has injected fresh capital into LIV 2.0, coming roughly a month after the organisation sought bankruptcy protection. Court documents originally required player commitments for 2027 by 14 October; that deadline has since been pushed back to 25 October.

Speaking to bunkered.co.uk earlier this week, BC Partners’ Ted Goldthorpe underlined the central role of the talent roster: “The players are everything. They’re our partners and they’re very, very important to our future.”

Should DeChambeau ultimately reduce or end his involvement, the loss of one of LIV’s most prominent figures would represent a significant setback for the circuit.

On the competitive side, DeChambeau is already locked in for the Nedbank Golf Challenge in South Africa this December. That appearance will mark his first non-major DP World Tour start since the JP McManus Pro-Am in July 2022. His most recent competitive outing was at LIV Golf Indianapolis toward the end of August.
