With warm sunshine and wonderful views at Monkstown Golf Club, scoring came easy for 2014 past Champion Laura Webb (East Berkshire) who posted five birdies in a two-under-par 71.

Defending champion, Suzanne Corcoran returned a seven-over-par 80 leaving her with work to do today to qualify as part of the 16 players who till contest the Championship Matchplay (5-6 July), with the next 16 qualifiers qualifying to compete for the Plate.
