The Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) have announced that Ireland’s and Arizona State women’s golf’s, Olivia Mehaffey has been named a Second Team All-American for the 2017-18 season.
This marks Mehaffey’s first Second Team honor, as she was named Honorable Mention as a freshman last season during the team’s national championship run.
Mehaffey, the No. 20 amateur in the world, earned First Team All-Conference honors, was also named Pac-12 Second Team All-Academic and is on the final watch list for the ANNIKA Award this season. She will play on the Palmer Cup international team and the Great Britain & Ireland Curtis Cup team in summer 2018 too and it’s great to see the rewards coming for all her hard work.
