Scotland’s Dundonald Links is teeing off in 2023 by giving golfers the chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime luxury trip to the acclaimed Ayrshire resort, which has hosted DP World Tour qualifying school, Senior Open Championship qualifying, and for the second year in succession, will host the 2023 Trust Golf Women’s Scottish Open.

Running from January 5 to midnight on February 5, one lucky winner and three friends will claim the unforgettable trip to the resort, situated on the Firth of Clyde, a 90-minute drive north of Stranraer. Headlining the prize are two rounds of golf on Dundonald Links’ prestigious par-72 course, hailed as one of the finest in the country.

Between rounds, winners can enjoy a two-night stay in a luxury lodge and a dinner at the Canny Crow, the resort’s contemporary fine dining experience. Valued at more than £2,500, the prize trip will be crowned by breakfast at the Canny Crow and a quintessentially Scottish whisky tasting session.

Already known as one of the finest courses on Ayrshire’s bountiful golf coast, the new competition punctuates a successful first season as a complete resort for Dundonald Links. Extensive renovations have enhanced the golfing experience with the additions of world-class facilities and accommodation. Akaya Furue also made headlines at the resort with her spectacular victory at the Trust Golf Women’s Scottish Open.

Dundonald Links has also been recognised as one of the finalists in the ‘Best Clubhouse’, ‘best Pro Shop’ and ‘Best Sustainability’ categories at the Scottish Golf Tourism Awards, with the winners set to be announced at a ceremony in Fife on February 2. It’s a typically eye-catching start to the year for the resort, which is set to host a number of high-profile events once again, including Final Qualifying for The Open.

Ian Ferguson, General Manager of Dundonald Links, said: “We were thrilled with our first season with the Canny Crow and new accommodation, and this competition is a nice way for us to give something back to golfers.

“With plenty of exciting events already in the calendar, 2023 is shaping up to be another fantastic year across the resort and we can’t wait to welcome first-time guests and our returning golfers alike.”
