Rebekah Gardner shot a career low round of 67 in the Therese Hession Regional Challenge.

Gardner who represents Miami University, shot up the leaderboard and into a share of eighth place on level-par.

The Clandeboye star who is in her second year in Miami starred well with birdies on the first, fifth and sixth holes.

She gave shots back on the 7th and 8th but responded with back to back birdies on 11 and 12 before a bogey on 13 was cancelled out by a strong finish where she birdied two of her last four holes.

Beth Coulter carded a final round of 70 to finish in a share of 13th place on one-over while Marina Joyce-Moreno finished in a share of 71st place.

Meanwhile, at the Amer Ari Invitational, Douglas star Jack Murphy carded a final round of 67 for an eight-under total and a share of 37th place.

The Washington player moved up sixteen places on the final day courtesy of four birdies in five holes on his front nine while he dropped just one shot on the par-3 8th and picked up two further birdies on the 10th and 17th holes.

Sean Keeling carded a one-under 71 for a share of 79th place.
