All four provinces will have the opportunity to win one of the Underage Interprovincial Championships on Sunday afternoon at Mount Wolseley GC in Carlow. With Semi-Finals taking place in all four competitions on Saturday, each province is also represented in one of the Under-18 Girls or Boys Finals.

Ulster Under-18 Girls had the most impressive win of the day, defeating Munster 8-1 in their Semi-Final. Beth Coulter, Rebekah Gardner and Molly O’Hara were all part of the team that won the Women’s Interprovincials this year, and they used that experience, overcoming their Munster rivals.

Ulster will play Leinster in the Final, with the eastern province beating Connacht 6-3 at the Tullow venue. A 3-0 win in the morning session proved the difference, with the provinces sharing the afternoon’s Singles matches.

In the Under-18 Boys Final, Connacht will play Munster, after both came through tight Semi-Finals. The Westerners defeated Leinster 6.5-3.5, with a 3-0 win in the morning session proving crucial. Munster overcame Ulster 5.5-4.5 in their Semi-Final, as the teams shared the Singles matches in the afternoon in a tight encounter.

Munster and Ulster will face off for the Under-16 Boys Interprovincial Championship, after defeating Leinster and Connacht respectively. In the Under-14 Boys Interprovincial Championship, Ulster and Leinster will meet in the decider.
