After a dominate performance in the first session of the day, the International Team built upon their commanding lead once again, earning a 7-5 victory in the evening mixed foursome matches. Team International now leads 26.5-9.5 heading into the Wednesday singles matches.

Arizona State star Olivia Mehaffey partnered Auburn’s Kaleigh Telfer to a morning foursomes 3&2 victory to add to her win alongside Maynooth’s Caolan Rafferty on Monday. Rafferty sat out the first session on Tuesday where Kilkenny’s Mark Power and Alex Fitzpatrick were soundly beaten 6&4 by John Augenstein and Davis Thompson.

Back alongside his winning partner of the opening day, Kaleigh Telfer, Power soon returned to winning ways with a 3&1 triumph in the mixed foursomes on Tuesday evening, with further victories for the Internationals coming from Alex Fitzpatrick/Gabriela Ruffels, Matthias Schmid/Emma Spitz, Alyaa Abdulghany/Angus Flanagan. Mehaffey and Rafferty were defeated on the final hole of their afternoon match.

The Swedish duo of Maja Stark and Ludvig Aberg continued their strong play with a 2&1 victory over Garett Reband and Julia Johnson. Stark and Aberg now move to 3-0 thus far on the week. Despite trailing most of the day, the Americans continued to fight back, earning points in two of the final matches, with victories coming from Allisen Corpuz/Davis Thompson, and Kaitlyn Papp/Pierceson Coody.

The Internationals will look to continue their Tuesday success tomorrow, in search of their second consecutive Arnold Palmer Cup trophy. Singles matches will tee off at 7:30 a.m. local time from Bay Hill with live scoring found on www.golfstat.com
