Faithlegg’s Alex King continued his superb form to be crowned the winner of the Multi Cargo sponsored Leinster U16 Amateur Open Championship at Beaverstown Golf Club.
Winner of the Ulster U16 Open Championship earlier this month, King shot a superb round of two-under par 70 which included a fantastic six birdies on his way to claiming the title.
Roganstown’s Patrick Keeling shot an excellent round of one under to take second place on count-back with Moyola Park’s Corey Scullion, who was the recent winner of the Ulster Boys U16 Close also earlier this month, completing the podium places.
