Munster will enter day two of this year’s Interpros in a commanding position after enjoying a seismic opening effort at Mount Wolseley Hotel and Golf Resort yesterday.

Each province contested three foursomes matches and five singles matches with Munster whitewashing Connacht 8-0 in the Women’s draw while Munster Girls prevailed 5-3 against their Western rivals.

In the other Women’s match-up, Ulster eased passed Leinster 5-2 before the Leinster Girls got some revenge with a 5-3 win.

Day two today sees Ulster face Connacht while Leinster square off against Munster.
