Padraig Harrington & Peter Lawrie at the Spawell Golf Academy Opening

Peter Lawrie went big on talent as he launched his new venture, the rebranded Spawell Golf Academy in South Dublin.

Lawrie wheeled in the big guns and had no less a figure than 2020 Ryder Cup Captain Padraig Harrington on hand to officially open the venue which has been closed for a number of months following a land purchase.

The venue has received a total make-over under Lawrie and relaunched to the market under as the Spawell Golf Academy, which will see the return of golfers favourite Brendan McDaid, among others, as one of the teaching professionals.

The re-opening of this historic venue is significant for the local area and it will undoubtedly prove popular with golfers, particularly with the introduction of Top Tracer technology which will add another dimension for golfers looking to get more feedback on their practice sessions or even just to have some fun with friends.

The academy have special offers on range balls for a limited time and are open for business now so get yourself up there!

IGM wish Peter and all at Spawell Golf Academy the best of luck with the venture and we”ll be visiting regularly!
