Before I get accused of being unprofessional, which I most certainly am, it wasn’t meant to be another bring your dad to work day on Monday at the JP McManus Pro-Am. It just so happens that sometimes these things are beyond my control. For the record, I’ll admit that...

All tickets for Championship Days for The 148th Open at Royal Portrush are now sold out. This includes all Adult, Youth and ‘Kids Go Free’ Junior Tickets.

Fans can still purchase tickets for Practice Days (14-17 July) and we would encourage you to secure your tickets for this historic occasion by visiting TheOpen.com.

If you were among those who missed out on tickets for The 148th Open The R&A have introduced a ticket waiting list and Hospitality waiting list for fans. Should any tickets be returned for a sold-out day then priority will go to members of The One Club in the event they are released for sale.

The R&A would also like to take this opportunity to warn fans of buying tickets from unofficial and secondary sources. The only official sources of tickets for The 148th Open are via TheOpen.com or Authorised Ticketing Providers.

Any tickets made available on websites such as Viagogo, Safetickets.net, Stubhub, eBay and Gumtree are not done so with the permission of The R&A and are subject to unregulated pricing, and as such, are likely to be refused entry to the Championship.
