Bold Golf, a disruptive new brand at the intersection of golf, streetwear, and art, has officially launched introducing an entirely fresh perspective to the game. Proudly designed in Dublin, the brand invites players—seasoned and new—to embrace a bold future for the sport.

The founders, brothers Jack and Robbie Pierse, along with friends Jonathan O’Driscoll and Dervla Malone, grew up immersed in golf, following its traditional etiquette without question. Yet their later passion for streetwear and urban art redefined their perspective.

“Growing up playing golf together, we’ve always shared a passion for the game. However, when it came to fashion in the sport we’ve found it lacking”, explains Robbie. “Major brands focus on performance wear, clothing that follows the traditional etiquette of the sport despite golf’s changing trends and demographics. Bold was born from our desire to design clothing we actually want to wear”.

The brand has secured $1 million in funding, backed by an impressive roster that includes Irish major winner Shane Lowry as a Founding Investor. Joining Lowry are notable names such as Jim Pallotta of Raptor Group and Dan Robertson of Golf Digest.

“The team at Bold are incredibly ambitious and have a really edgy, unique vision for the game. While it won’t be for everyone, for those who connect with it, this is going to be a truly special brand. Bold’s designs will speak to an entirely new generation of players”, said Lowry.

The golf industry has seen incredible growth over the last few years, driven by a younger, more diverse
audience. The sport has experienced double digit growth in total rounds played vs pre-COVID, while there has been a huge resurgence in PGA Tour viewership. Bold has embraced the change taking place in the golf world, and is seeking to capture a large share of golf’s new, youthful market.

“Like football and basketball, golf is beginning to take on more cultural significance. Music and fashion
celebrities like Snoop Dogg, Drake and Pharrell are all hitting the course, and this has made the sport relevant for a whole new generation”, says Jonathan O’Driscoll.

Bold Golf’s designs are proudly created in Dublin and embody a rebellious spirit that challenges the
conventional golf “uniform.” The premium Italian leather Sunday bag is a centerpiece of the collection, designed for golfers who prioritise craftsmanship and style. Apparel pieces like old-school jerseys and collared jackets blur the lines between course-ready and street-smart.

Collaborations form the backbone of Bold Golf’s ethos, uniting like-minded artists and creators to infuse their vision into the sport. The highlight of the OG Collection is a hand-painted, one-of-a-kind Sunday bag from Penfold, an artist who has previously collaborated with Nike & Disney, and is renowned for his vibrant, graphic expression. More collaborations will be announced in the coming weeks.

Now available is the OG Collection which features a few premium items.
– Premium Italian Leather Sunday Bags – A modern nod to timeless craftsmanship.
– Limited Edition Apparel – Including graphic t-shirts, old-school rugby jerseys, windbreakers, and collared jackets that seamlessly blend function and style.
– Artist Original Sunday Bag – A unique art piece that transforms a classic golf accessory into a
collector’s treasure.

Bold Golf celebrates the intersection of tradition and dissent, transforming golf into a platform for individuality and art. Proudly designed in Dublin, the brand invites players—seasoned and new—to embrace a bold future for the sport. For more information, visit www.bold-golf.com
