On this week’s edition of the podcast Peter sits down with Ronan who is fresh off a week in Lahinch for the South of Ireland Championship where a week that started with glorious sunshine turned sour with squally showers and an all Welsh final proving an anticlimax. Meanwhile, GB&I Walker Cup captain Dean Robertson is none the wiser as to which Irish players, if any, he will add to his ten-man squad to face USA in Lahinch this September.
On Tour, Leona Maguire and Seamus Power both boosted their seasons with top-10 finishes with Maguire bouncing into the AIG Women’s Open on a golf course that should suit her while Power’s hopes of earning a full PGA Tour card for next year are looking more promising. We also witnessed a new star arriving as Jackson Koivun put on a clinic to win the 3M Open on the PGA Tour.
