Charlie Woods endured another tough outing on the golf course after he carded rounds 78, 81 and 78 on his American Golf Association debut at the Will Lowery Junior Championship.

In the end, Woods, the son of 15-time major winner Tiger, finished on 21-over-par which left him in T33 out of 51 players.

Charlie turned 15 last month and was playing on a sponsor’s invite.

Tiger was spotted walking the fairways supporting his son on a circuit he dominated in his junior days.

Playing from back to front, Charlie got off to a tough start in his final round, opening with back-to-back bogeys and two doubles in his first six holes.

A birdie on 17 saw him turn in 41 and despite a bogey on his tenth hole he briefly rallied with successive birdies on the third and fourth. However, he would hand both shots back on the 5th before making another bogey on 6.

He finished on a high with a closing birdie for a 78.

Charlie made headlines when he appeared in a PGA Tour Monday Qualifier in February, alongside Ireland’s Ruaidhri McGee.

Crowds followed him then and the fans came out again this week.

According to reports, armed police were at the entrance and thoroughly checking IDs before issuing badges.
