Derryman Ruaidhri McGee finished off the Turkish Airlines Challenge event in some style as he closed with a 71 to move up the leaderboard to a solo fourth place.

Sitting just outside the top 10 places overnight McGee was in a strong position to challenge for a place on the podium and, although he finished some 8 shots adrift of winner Ryan Evans, it was a superb way to start off his season.

McGee, who picked up €12,000 from his trip to Turkey, finished six shots ahead of Gavin Moynihan who carded a final round of 72 to come in a tie for 25th.
