Global spend management company Qashio has become an Official Supporter of the 2027 Ryder Cup as it continues to expand its operations in Ireland ahead of the competition’s 100th anniversary at Adare Manor in County Limerick.
Dual-headquartered in Dublin and Dubai, Qashio serves more than 5,000 businesses globally, with Dublin at the centre of its European operations. The company is also developing Qashio Labs, its research and development operation in Ireland, which it intends to have operational ahead of the Ryder Cup in 2027.
Qashio joins Kerry Group, Musgrave, IDA Ireland and Ballygowan among a growing group of prominent Irish businesses and organisations supporting the 2027 event.
For Qashio, the partnership is therefore more than an international sponsorship taking place in Ireland. Ireland is already one of the company’s two homes and a base for its continued international expansion.
“There is a nice symmetry to it,” said Armin Moradi, CEO of Qashio. “I started my financial technology career in Ireland more than 15 years ago. Dublin has since become one of Qashio’s two global headquarters. We are building our European business and broader global expansion from Ireland, while developing a unique R&D centre here with the support of IDA Ireland. And now the Ryder Cup’s 100th anniversary is coming here too. Between now and 2027, we intend to build substantially more here.”
Adare Manor will host the Ryder Cup’s centenary edition in 2027, marking 100 years since the competition began and only the second time it has been staged in Ireland. For Qashio, it brings together its growing Irish operation, European ambitions and one of the most significant global sporting events to be hosted in Ireland.
“Being part of this celebration in Ireland matters enormously to us,” Moradi said. “Ireland has been a second home to me for years. I love golf, I love what the Ryder Cup represents, and there couldn’t be a better place for its centenary than Ireland.”
For Qashio, the broader significance is equally straightforward: The companies that lead categories should be seen in the places that define them.
“We want to be seen where our clients aspire to be,” Moradi said. “The Ryder Cup brings together extraordinary athletes, global businesses and people at the top of their fields. For Qashio to be there feels completely natural.”
Ryder Cup week brings together global business leaders, founders, investors and senior decision-makers from across industries, creating an environment where enterprise conversations, partnerships and investment relationships can form long before any transaction becomes public.
“Our customers travel the world. They do business globally and expect the companies they work with to operate at that same level,” Moradi said. “That is part of what makes the Ryder Cup such a natural platform for us.”
The partnership also reflects a shared international identity. Europe’s leading golfers spend most of the year competing as individuals from different countries and backgrounds before coming together at the Ryder Cup under one European identity.
“The Ryder Cup creates a kind of belonging that doesn’t follow a passport,” Moradi said. “Different countries, different backgrounds, one team.”
That connection is particularly relevant for Qashio. The company serves businesses across European markets represented within Team Europe, while Dubai, its other global headquarters, is home to a number of Europe’s leading golfers. Qashio itself was built for a similarly borderless reality, with a platform designed for businesses whose financial operations increasingly extend globally.
“There is something in that identity that feels very familiar to us at Qashio,” Moradi said. “Our customers operate across borders. Our people operate across borders. We were never built around a single geography.”
Between now and Adare Manor, Qashio intends to continue expanding its Irish operations and developing Qashio Labs, while using the Ryder Cup partnership to create opportunities for its customers, partners and wider European network.
Europe will arrive at Adare Manor seeking a third consecutive Ryder Cup victory after wins in Rome in 2023 and New York in 2025.
“Europe has won the last two,” Moradi said. “I’d quite like to be there when they make it three.”
Richard Atkinson, Chief Ryder Cup Officer at the European Tour group, added: “The Ryder Cup has grown to become one of the largest events in global sport and provides a world-class platform for leading businesses to engage with an international audience.
“Qashio has built an international business around helping companies manage increasingly complex financial operations across markets. That global outlook, combined with its strong connection to Ireland, makes Qashio a compelling addition to our commercial programme.
“We are delighted to welcome Qashio as the Official Supporter of the 2027 Ryder Cup and look forward to working together to bring the partnership to life for its customers, partners and fans on the road to Adare Manor.”
