John Ross Galbraith has become the latest Irishman to punch his ticket to DP World Tour Q-School Second Stage after a strong performance over 72 holes at The Northumberland Club in England.
The Whitehead man shot rounds of 68, 70, and 68 again to go into the final round in second place, and a final-round three-under 67 saw him secure a T2 finish with 11 Second Stage places on offer.
The €1,500 he earned for the week helps cover the cost accrued, but more importantly, his dreams of earning a DP World Tour card are still alive. Galbraith joins Niall Kearney, who made it through First Stage at Huddersfield the week prior, and Thomas Higgins who qualified at the Players Club in Bristol the week prior, for Second Stage which takes place at four Spanish venues in late October/early November.
With four First Stage qualifiers remaining, hopes are high that that number will continue to grow.
