The Golf Ireland Underage High Performance and Performance Development panels for 2026-27 have been selected.
Maddie Armstrong, Eva Branks, Qingyun Elsa Chen, Emma Vinarcik and Beth Cuthbert have made the step up from the performance development panel to join the U-18 Girls’ High Performance squad. Vinarcik was one of those with a phenomenal season which included her selection in the European girls’ team.
Ollie McEvoy starred for the boys’ team, winning the McGregor Trophy, and he along with Justin Dennehy have made the jump from the U-16 HP squad. The Flogas Irish Boys’ Amateur Open Champion, Luke Furlong, joined from Performance Development, as does Harris Fleming and Patrick Martin. Tom Doyle is the only new face in the U-16 HP squad, after he joined from Performance Development.
