There was a superb turnout at Lahinch Golf Club for their ‘Play in Pink’ Day in aid of Breast Cancer Research.

Despite some nasty wintry weather, a full timesheet turned out for a most worthy cause with tee sponsorships and wonderful raffle prizes contributing to an enjoyable day on the treacherous links.

A special mention must go out to the Lady Captain, Rose Doyle and her hard-working committee who manned the timesheet from early morning to ensure that all those teeing up did so with a smile on their face as the ‘Play in Pink’ campaign continues to grow to new levels each year.

Well done to everyone involved on their inspiring work and don’t forget to play some golf in pink this season and if you are interested in getting your club involved or would like more information you should check out the PlayInPink.com website for updates, venues for the season or ways to get involved.
