Annabel Wilson is best of the Irish at the World Amateur Girls Championships at Camelot Country Club in Ottawa.

Wilson returned a second consecutive 73 to sit in T16 position on +2 with the leader, Alessa Nobillo from Italy on a staggering -12 and she leads by seven shots from Brooke Bay from the USA.

Of Ireland’s other entrants, Lauren Walsh is in T26 on +6 after rounds of 74 and 76, while Sara Byrne is T43 after a 76, 80 combination.
On the team leaderboard Italy are way out in front on -17, eleven shots ahead of their nearest challengers, USA on -6 with Thailand on -4.  Ireland are in T9 on +8.
