Five-time Major champion Brooks Koepka will bring further star power to Ireland next month when he tees it up at the Amgen Irish Open.
The three-time US PGA Championship winner and double U.S. Open champion will join a stellar field at Trump International Golf Links Doonbeg from September 9-13, including defending champion Rory McIlroy, two-time Major Champion and two-time Amgen Irish Open champion Jon Rahm, and Major Champions and former Amgen Irish Open winners Shane Lowry and Pádraig Harrington.
Former World Number One Koepka returns for his second appearance in the island of Ireland’s national open, having featured at The K Club for the 2025 edition.
The 36-year-old American, who posted a top 30 finish at The 154th Open earlier this summer, will be aiming for maiden success on Irish soil when the tournament arrives on the west coast next month.
“I’m looking forward to coming back to Ireland for the Amgen Irish Open,” said Koepka, a seven-time DP World Tour winner. “I’m excited to experience the challenges of links golf at Doonbeg for the first time, and once again play in front of some of the most passionate golf fans. It’s always great to be back playing in Europe.”
The Amgen Irish Open, which returns to County Clare for the first time since 2019, again assumes a key position on the DP World Tour’s Global Schedule as part of the Back 9, which encompasses nine of the Tour’s most historic tournaments and national opens.
Race to Dubai leader and 2018 Masters Champion Patrick Reed is also confirmed to play, alongside 2018 Open winner Francesco Molinari, former World Number One and Ryder Cup Europe Captain Luke Donald, and Team Europe players Tyrrell Hatton, Rasmus and Nicolai Højgaard, Robert MacIntyre and Sepp Straka.
It features an esteemed roll of honour of champions, including Seve Ballesteros, Sir Nick Faldo, Bernhard Langer, Harrington, Lowry, McIlroy, Colin Montgomerie, José María Olazábal, Rahm and Sam Torrance.
