We’ve just added another new event to the Irish Golfer Events series for 2026….and it’s a big one! The K Club Palmer North is now available to book on Monday September 14th CLICK HERE FOR BOOKING.
A former Irish Open and Ryder Cup venue, as well as the home for our Irish Golfer Events finals for the last number of years this venue needs no introduction and we’ve no doubt it will prove very popular.
The next event in the series is at Rosslare Golf Links in Wexford on Friday May 1st and the times are filling up there too so get in now if you’re interested in playing this fantastic links layout. The other events for the season are live HERE for booking (with waitlists available at sold out events).
All events offer the latest and greatest on the prize table with TaylorMade once again our brand of choice with their new Qi4d line of clubs and we have some new partnerships with Under Armour and also with iGolf which will see iGolfers have the opportunity to participate in the series within their own category across the 2026 season.
There are some highlights to the season schedule as always and some new additions which see a first multi-day event launched in August which includes competition days at Narin & Portnoo and Donegal as a combined 2-day tournament. We also welcome Glasson back for 2026 and have added the exceptional Jameson Links, Rosslare Golf Links and Ardglass to what was an already impressive line-up.
Our main categories for prizes are; Men up to 11 Playing Handicap, Men 12-24 Playing Handicap and Ladies up to 36 Playing Handicap and now iGolf is listed separately with the prizes on offer there correlated to the number of players in the category on the day. There’s also the added bonus of Nearest the Pin competitions sure to test your wits and a Best Gross prize for the low handicappers.
As ever, competitions are singles stableford and are open to all players with a Golf Ireland handicap index. With 14 guaranteed prize winners sharing over €5,000 worth of prizes at each event, don’t miss your chance to be part of Ireland’s largest amateur golf series. Three category winners from each event will also qualify for the Grand Final where we will crown our Irish Golfer Champion for 2026.
And if you don’t qualify for the Grand Final as one of the category winners from the events automatically, you can still qualify through the FLOGAS Order of Merit. Your best five scores across the year will be counted and the Top 25 players not already qualified for the Grand Final will win a place at the Grand Final 2026.
The FLOGAS Order of Merit will also decide the Grand Champion for 2026, with the Grand Final event scores added to your qualifying Order of Merit tally, so consistency and ability across the season will be rewarded!
