Motocaddy, the leading electric trolley brand, is hosting the first event of the Clutch Pro Tour Tier 1 season at Heythrop Park in Oxfordshire this week where 11 Irish pros are competing.

Motocaddy, is proud to be headline sponsor of the Motocaddy Masters, which is taking place this week on the Tier 1 schedule of the Clutch Pro Tour, which supports the development of emerging professional golfers and provides a guaranteed £1.2million prize fund over the season.

“We’re thrilled to headline sponsor the first event on the Tier 1 schedule and mark another significant chapter of supporting the next generation of talent,” said Oliver Churcher, Marketing Director at Motocaddy.

“We’ve enjoyed three fantastic seasons as a partner to the Clutch Pro Tour and look forward to another year promoting our brand and product range alongside some of the most promising players in the game as they look to take the next step in their professional careers,” he added.

The Motocaddy Masters is taking place on the par-72 parkland layout reaching 7088 yards from the championship tees and features a host of special Motocaddy products as prizes. In addition to the £10,000 first prize, the tournament winner will take home a new 2026 M7 REMOTE worth £1,299.99/€1,499.99. The runner-up will receive an easy-to-use 2026 M1 DHC electric trolley, while the third-place finisher will be awarded a compact-folding QB2 push trolley. There will also be additional social media activations and prizes available for competitors.

As part of its multi-year agreement as the ‘Official Trolley & Laser’ partner to the Clutch Pro Tour, Motocaddy will have branding and course signage, along with product placement at every event throughout the season. The brand will also be included in the comprehensive promotion of events across the Clutch Pro Tour’s social media channels and digital marketing activity.

Designed to give developing professional golfers the opportunity to compete in elite fields at top championship courses, the Tier 1 schedule features 14, 54-hole tournaments with a minimum prize fund of £50,000 at each event, while the season-finale Tour Championship will offer an elevated purse. All players can once again earn Official Golf World Ranking points, with the top three players on the Order of Merit receiving full HotelPlanner Tour cards for next season.

Last year, Mallow’s James Sugrue enjoyed his most successful season as a professional and finished third on the Order of Merit, earning him a HotelPlanner Tour card for this year, while Mark Power claimed his first professional victory at the Clutch Pro Tour Championship at Al Ain Golf and Equestrian Club last October.

Each Clutch Pro event sees heavy Irish involvement and this week is no different with 11 Irishmen teeing it up, all hoping to kickstart their seasons after disruptions in the Middle East forced the cancellation of the planned season-opening events.

In addition to its Tier 1 involvement, Motocaddy’s support extends to 11 events on the Tier 2 schedule which serves as a direct pathway into the top-level Clutch Pro Tour system. The Order of Merit winner will receive three HotelPlanner Tour invites, while the top three will receive a prize bundle which includes a Motocaddy electric trolley.

Coinciding with the start of the season, the brand is pleased to announce the expansion of its successful #TeamMotocaddy ambassador programme for 2026. The latest hot prospects to join the lineup are Luke Harries, Dongwon Kim and Hamish Hall. They join a long list of rising talent, including Jordan Wrisdale, Giles Evans, Ireland’s Tyler Hogarty, Kris Kim and Imogen Courtney.

Last year, three members of the team enjoyed a strong showing on the Clutch Pro Tour to finish within the top 10 of the season-long Clutch Pro Tour Order of Merit. Callum Farr achieved full playing status on the HotelPlanner Tour after topping the Order of Merit, while Jordan Wrisdale and Jake McGoldrick finished in 4th and 6th place respectively to secure a minimum of seven starts on the HotelPlanner Tour.

“Motocaddy has been a big supporter of the Clutch Pro Tour and we are thrilled to get the 2026 Tier 1 season underway with the Motocaddy Masters,” said Callum Mackay, Head of Partnerships at Clutch Pro Tour. “Players get the most out of their game using the award-winning products, allowing them to fully focus on both tournament play and practice. Having a trusted global partner like Motocaddy strengthens our commitment to providing the best possible experience as players progress through their professional careers. We are excited to further enhance the event with these special Motocaddy prizes at Heythrop Park this week,” he added.
