The 2025 Audi quattro Cup season has commenced in style with the Audi Centre regional competition taking place earlier this week. The event had huge interest as always with a total of 114 golfers across 57 teams taking part in the tournament in mixed weather conditions at the incredible Dun Laoghaire Golf Club.

Billy & Mike Farrell emerged as the winners with a score of 40 points and now hold the prestigious title of the Audi Centre quattro Cup winners. In an incredible day of competition, the winning team claimed victory by 3 points. They, along with the next five highest ranking teams, qualify for the Audi Ireland national quattro Cup final taking place at The K Club on the 22nd of September.

Additional regional events are being hosted for Audi customers by Audi dealerships nationwide at some of Ireland’s best golf courses to determine who will join the Audi Centre qualifiers at the national final. The successful pairing that claim first prize at the national quattro Cup will represent Ireland at the Audi quattro Cup World final, taking place in November. This truly is a once in a lifetime opportunity to visit and play at one of the world’s top golf courses. Previous World Final destinations have included; Los Cabos, Mexico, Western Cape, South Africa, Dubai UAE to name a few.

The Audi quattro Cup tournament now in its 35th year welcomes approximately over 70,000 golfers globally, making it the largest amateur golfing tournament in the world.

The Audi Centre quattro Cup is the first of nine regional quattro Cup events taking place throughout May, June, and July at some of Ireland’s leading Championship golf clubs, culminating in the Irish National Final. Over 1,100 amateur golfers from across the country will vie for the ultimate honour of representing Ireland at the 2025 World Final.

The Audi quattro Cup is a team-based competition with each team consisting of two players and is open to Audi customers and their chosen teammate.  The maximum handicap is 36 (index) per player and 56 (index) per team. The handicap difference between the players in a team must not exceed 20. Very limited places remain for 2025, Audi customers are encouraged to contact their local dealership for more information.
