Top-10 for Donegan as LSU claim runner-up spot

Aine Donegan continued from where she left off with another impressive performance on the US college circuit as she claimed her first top-10 of the season at the Cougar Classic.

Donegan finished in a share of ninth place on eight-under-par, eight shots shy of teammate and world number one Ingrid Lindblad.

The Lahinch woman carded rounds of 68, 69 and 68 as LSU climbed into second place on -31, five shots behind Ole Miss.

Irish Close champion Sara Byrne claimed a share of 20th place on four-under as Miami finished ninth on the team leaderboard on level-par.

Meanwhile in the Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire, Beth Coulter finished 24th in the individual competition as Arizona claimed third spot on three-under-par.
