Dylan Keating played his final ten holes in six-under-par to claim a share of seventh at the Argent Financial Classic as Louisiana lost out in a playoff to UAB.

Keating was the top scorer for his team on five-under-par, eight shots off eventual winner Owen Stamper after a final round 69.

After opening his week with a 73, the Seapoint man carded back-to-back rounds of 69 and with two storming back nines.

In round two Keating bounced back with a back nine of 32 including three birdies in a row and a closing birdie before producing similar heroics in the final round.

Joshua Hill enjoyed an encouraging debut for South Alabama as he shared twelfth place on two-under-par following rounds of 72, 70 and 71 while Rory Milne was four-over.
