Roisin Scanlon carded a final round 73 to take third place a the English U16 Girls’ Championship in Shifnal Golf Club.

The Woburn based Irish international added a level-par final round to earlier rounds of 75, 69 and 76 to finish on one-over-par, seven shots behind runaway winner Chloe Tarbard of Royal Norwich who closed with a final round of 69 to pull away from the field.

Royal Dublin’s Niamh O’Grady was Ireland’s only other representative and she claimed a top-20 place.
