Beth Coulter won one and halved one of her two matches on day two of the Patsy Hankins Trophy as Europe edged two points in front of Asia Pacific heading into the final day at La Manga Golf Resort.

Coulter partnered Germany’s Celina Rosa Sattelkau in the morning foursomes and they shared the spoils with Ting-Hsuan Huang and Fiaiona Xu.

The Kirkistown Castle woman paired up with England’s Patience Rhodes in a strong four ball team and they edged Huang and Mizuki Hashimoto on the 18th hole.

Europe lost the morning foursomes session 3.5-1.5 but recovered in the afternoon to take the four balls 3-2.
