Emma Fleming has extended her lead at the top of the Bridgestone Order of Merit after another win in a scratch cup.
The Elm Park golfer made it a remarkable fourth victory of the season, this time in the Hermitage Scratch Cup on Saturday.
Fleming, who also finished T5 in the Woodbrook Scratch Cup and third in the Ulster Women’s Amateur Stroke Play Open Championship, has moved further ahead of Kate Lanigan (Hermitage).
Anna Abom (Edmonstown) switched places with Beth Coulter (Kirkistown Castle) to go third while Clodagh Coughlan (Douglas) remains in fifth.
The next women’s event is on Friday at Bunclody when the Leinster Women’s Open tees up, while the men go to Lahinch for the Pierse Motors South of Ireland tomorrow.
Bridgestone Order of Merit leader, Alex Maguire, who was at Royal Liverpool last week, will not be in Lahinch but David Shiel (Enniscrone) who is second and Jack McDonnell (Forrest Little) in third, will look to close the gap at the top.
Shane McDermott (Slieve Russell) is currently fourth in the standings with David Kitt (Athenry) back in fifth.
