Dromoland Castle became the latest club to Play in Pink as the flamingo army turned out in force in aid of Breast Cancer Research.

The Play in Pink movement has been making quite a splash already in 2022 hot on the heels of a record breaking year in 2021 where over €370.000 was raised for The National Breast Cancer Research Institute.

Led by Lady Captain Katrina at Dromoland and her team of wonderful helpers, the Clare club promoted an outstanding auction and raffle as part of their fundraising efforts on the day. Maria was on hand as always to host golfers in the hospitality suite on the 14th with delicious treats baked by the members enjoyed by all as part of the Play in Pink festivities.
The sun shone for the duration of the day with some great golf and great fun enjoyed by all in aid of an even greater cause.
If you want to get your club involved in the Play in Pink movement, it’s not too late.  The initiative wouldn’t exist without the generosity of the golf community in Ireland and clubs are still being encouraged to Play in Pink if they haven’t already.

Clubs like Beaufort, Faithlegg, St Margaret’s, Muskerry, The K Club and Letterkenny all joined the Play in Pink brigade last year while it’s great to see more men taking part than ever, and juniors embracing the concept too.
