Alan Fahy (Bray) and Beth Coulter (Kirkistown Castle) lead the Men’s and Women’s Bridgestone Tours with five events taking place in April.

Fahy won the only Men’s Bridgestone Tour event of the month, winning the West of Ireland Championship in Co. Sligo over Easter weekend. The Bray golfer defeated his Ireland teammate Liam Fahy 2&1 in an entertaining Final at the Rosses Point venue.

Coulter won two of the four Women’s Bridgestone Tour events in April, triumphing at the Royal Portrush Scratch Cup, and winning the Ulster Women’s Championship in Portstewart.

Caitlin Shippam was crowned the Munster Women and Girls’ Senior Open champion. The Ballykisteen golfer had a four-shot win in Tralee for her first win on the Women’s Bridgestone Tour

Lahinch’s Olivia Lucas won the final event of the month, claiming the Lahinch Scratch Cup on home turf.

All four winners are the inaugural nominees for the Bridgestone Tour Player of the Month. You can vote for your favourite player on Golf Ireland’s Twitter page from 1pm on Wednesday afternoon. Voting closes on Friday evening at 5pm
