Rathsallagh Golf and Country Club will match all donations received up to €10,000 when the Wicklow venue hosts a charity golf day on Friday, April 22nd in aid of the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Ukraine.

Since the outbreak of the War, Irish golf clubs have been doing their bit to raise much-needed funds to help the besieged people of Ukraine and Rathsallagh is the latest club to tee up support with slots available from 9am to 6pm with 9 and 18-hole competitions set to take place on the day.

The club will generously match donations up to €10,000 with a minimum €30 donation required from individuals wanting to take part. Donations include a Group Clinic with Rathsallagh’s Director of Golf and Advanced PGA Professional, Ted Higgins on the club’s driving range from 11am to 12pm on the day.

If you haven’t played Rathsallagh Golf & Country Club, you couldn’t pick a better time to play it. The course rose 1 place to 59th in our list of Top-100 Courses in Ireland for 2022, with our panel of experts stating, ‘it’s hard to believe this peaceful gem closed at all (2015) but it’s a parkland of quality in the sweetest of country settings so it is no surprise that it bounced back. Trees constantly threaten and they’re not shy about it.’

VERDICT: A mature landscape where this parkland oozes confidence.
