Roganstown’s talented teenager Sean Keeling completed a fourth place finish at the latest Toro Tour event at Azata Golf.

The Dubliner closed out an impressive week in Estepona with a three-over par round of 74 to take outright fourth at eight-over par.

Keeling had to dig deep after struggling to an outward half of 39 with three bogeys and no birdies on his card before dropping another shot on 10.

He steadied the ship with a par on 11 and a birdie on 12 before six straight pars to the clubhouse left him six strokes behind amateur division winner, Cristina Albertazzi who signed off with a superb five-under par 66 for a two-over winning tally.

Keeling’s closing 74 was matched by Royal Dublin’s Irish international Hugh Foley who didn’t have his best stuff this week in Spain.

There were plenty of bright spots, not least a birdie and an eagle on Wednesday, but again it was a case of too many mistakes with Foley also signing for two bogeys and two doubles as he continues to work his way back to competition mode ahead of another hectic amateur schedule.
