Chint Ireland are proud to come on board as the official sponsor of Ireland’s EuroPro Tour regular Cameron Raymond. Originally from Newlands Golf Club, Raymond played at national level for Ireland from the age of 14 to 18 before turning pro in 2018 while still a teenager.
His golf has gone from strength to strength ever since having earned his card on the EuroPro Tour last year. Now it will be hoped that such an endorsement from Chint Ireland should take care of the pressures off the golf course so Raymond can best perform on it.

“We congratulate him on achieving his first tournament win at the Toro Tour Championship. We are pleased to announce Chint Ireland as his sponsor and are confident that he will continue to develop into an international star in the future.
“Being a keen golf player myself, we know first-hand how proud and honoured we are to sponsor a young Irish golfer like Raymond.”
A great golfer and also a talented football player, Raymond took the step of turning pro in 2018 when he was still a teenager. Raymond declined a US college scholarship to turn professional. He is currently being mentored by 2008 Spanish Open winner Peter Lawrie, also originally a Newlands member.
Raymond has completed this season on the European Challenge Tour. During 2019 and 2020 he moved to Spain for a few months each year to practice with his coach Steven Palmer. Raymond has been preparing extensively for the upcoming EuroPro Tour season.
