Playdemic and Electronic Arts Inc. have once again teamed up with Ryder Cup Europe and the PGA of America to bring the thrill of the Ryder Cup to fans and players of Golf Clash. However, this year there is a twist.

The collaboration will see the Ryder Cup brand integrated into Golf Clash with a range of exclusive in-game content. Setting the scene for this exciting partnership is a brand-new Ryder Cup themed course which is classic links in style, featuring windswept terrain and open rolling dunes.

The newly designed course will set the scene for the Golf Clash 9-hole Ryder Cup, with free entry to all players. Players will be able to put their virtual golf skills to the test from September 23 – 26, 2021.

To help level the playing field, all players participating in the 9-hole Ryder Cup will also use a brand-new set of exclusive Ryder Cup Clubs. Players can also pick up two new premium balls that have been designed exclusively for this event. Based on the famous rivalry of the Ryder Cup, players can now also pledge their allegiance to either team; Ryder Cup USA or Ryder Cup Europe.

Finally, for the first time in history, Golf Clash players will get the chance to experience the delight (or agony) of the famous Hole 17 at Whistling Straits. Running from September 20 – 26, 2021 players can tackle the famous ‘Pinched Nerve’ in a unique one-shot event where they have the opportunity to win the exclusive 2020 Ryder Cup Ball!

“We are happy to be welcoming back Playdemic to the Ryder Cup commercial family,” said Guy Kinnings, European Ryder Cup Director. “Playdemic’s ability to push creative boundaries and bring new innovative content to their platform has once again made them the perfect partner as we continue to seek to engage new audiences. With The Ryder Cup’s iconic heritage and fierce competitiveness, fans will be able to enjoy a unique and exciting gaming experience.”

“We’re extremely proud to be working with the Ryder Cup again this year,” said Paul Gouge, Playdemic CEO. “The Ryder Cup is one of the most prestigious events in sport and we are very excited to invite anyone who has an interest in sports, golf or mobile gaming in general to join the event and experience exclusive gameplay moments as they compete in the Ryder Cup on their devices.”
