The Irish Golfer Magazine event series has released an exciting 2020 schedule ahead of its return to the K Club’s Smurfit Course on Friday April 17th.
Irish Golfer Events are singles stableford competitions open to both men and women. The maximum handicap for men is 24 and ladies 36.
Category winners from each event qualify to the Grand Final on the Palmer Ryder Cup Course at the K Club on October 16th.
One lucky participant from the event series will be selected at random during our Grand Final to win a trip of a lifetime to the 2021 US Masters.
Nature Valley Order of Merit
If you don’t qualify automatically for the Grand Final as one of the 42 category winners from one of the 14 events, you can always qualify through the Nature Valley Order of Merit. Your best 4 scores across the year will be counted and the Top-10 players not already qualified for the Grand Final will claim a place at the K Club in October.
The two Best Gross scores from the season not already qualified for the Grand Final will also progress to the K Club in October where the field will be made up of 40 players vying for the title of Irish Golfer Grand Champion 2020.
Masters Trip Prize
One lucky Irish Golfer Series competitor will win a trip of a lifetime to the 2021 US Masters. All you have to do is complete the registration form at check-in and you’re in the draw to walk amongst the azaleas of Augusta National next April. The winner is chosen at the Grand Final set for the K Club in October. Prize includes flights / transfers / accommodation & Masters tickets for Tuesday (Practice day) and Wednesday (Practice day & Par 3 comp)
