Five Team Ireland golfers confirmed for Headfort challenge

The Confederation of Golf in Ireland has announced the following members of Team Ireland Golf will receive invitations to compete in the Stone Irish Challenge at Headfort from 10-13 October:

Ballymena’s Dermot McElroy, who has mainly played on the EuroPro Tour this year will be joined by Naas professional, Conor O’Rourke, The Island’s Paul McBride, Whitehead’s John Ross Galbraith and Tullamore’s Stuart Grehan.

Both O’Rourke and Galbraith should arrive full of confidence to the Kells venue after safely progressing to Second Stage of European Tour Q-School last week at Bogogno and Frilford Heath respectively.

Team Ireland Golf and the Stone Irish Challenge are supported by Sport Ireland.
