The Condor is delighted to announce former World Number One and Olympic Gold medalist, Justin Rose as a new global brand ambassador for the business.

The Englishman first captured the imagination of the golf world when bursting onto the scene as a 17-year old amateur at the 1998 Open Championship at Royal Birkdale. Rose tied-fourth at the tournament and collected the Silver Medal before turning professional and enjoying a glittering career boasting 24 worldwide wins, including a Major title at the 2013 U.S. Open.

Still just 41, the Condor has signed a global star, one who has played in five Ryder Cup matches, winning three, while reaching the summit of the game’s world rankings in September 2018, and tasting Gold medal success at the Rio Olympics in 2016.

“I am delighted to confirm today that I have partnered with the amazing Condor estate,” said Rose.

“It’s a special place and one that will allow for me to unwind and decompress following busy weeks on tour. I’m very proud to represent them as I travel the world and play golf this season, and I cannot wait to visit the facility in the near future- it really is one of the most incredible private places I’ve been fortunate enough to experience.”

The Condor sits in the exquisite surrounds of the Loire Valley, and has provided a tranquil resting place for guests since it was first built in 1775. Freshly renovated in 2013, with a stunning private golf course, multiple activities, a nearby private airport and round the clock service, the exclusive venue is available for private hire, promising “a luxury escape, steeped in a rich culture of French joie de vivre”.

“We are so proud to welcome Justin Rose as a global ambassador to the business,” said Niall Carroll, CEO at the Condor.

“Justin continues to have an incredible career and is the perfect representation of everything we stand for at the Condor. Justin’s values align with the business perfectly, exemplified by the Rose Ladies Series that provided much-needed playing opportunities to women golfers throughout the pandemic.

“We’re extremely excited to unveil this partnership and we cannot wait to see what the future holds.”

Rose’s signing further underlines the Condor’s ambitions on a global scale as Justin joins Tyrrell Hatton, Olivia Cowan and Brendan Lawlor who already serve as ambassadors for the brand. Located only 90 minutes south of Paris at the top of the Loire Valley , the Condor is a truly world class international golf estate, in an exquisite French setting, boasting the best of Irish hospitality.
