We’re delighted to announce that Luttrellstown Castle has been added to our Irish Golfer Event Series for 2021, with the Dublin parkland sure to again prove a popular stop when play tees off on Thursday, July 22nd.
Debates about Dublin’s best parkland may rage but Luttrellstown Castle remains the star attraction. A classic modern parkland with rivers and lakes laced across an old estate and with big trees shepherding proceedings, it was no surprise to see the course come in at number 38 in our top-100 list of Ireland’s best courses and we can’t wait to touch down there again this summer.
The Luttrellstown stop is part of our 16 event schedule for 2021 with golfers keen to make up for lost time due to Covid-19 restrictions. Competitions are singles stableford and are open to all players with a Golf Ireland handicap index. With the latest SIM2 prizes from TaylorMade on offer and 12 guaranteed prize winners sharing over €5,000 worth of prizes at each event, don’t miss your chance to be part of Ireland’s largest amateur golf series. The three category winners from each event will also qualify for the Grand Final on the K Club Palmer North in November where we will crown our Irish Golfer Champion for 2021.
Prizes at every Event
Just for taking part, all Irish Golfer event players across the season will also be entered into an end of season draw with one lucky participant winning a full bag of TaylorMade SIM2 clubs worth over €2,500. If you don’t qualify automatically for the Grand Final as one of the category winners, you can still qualify through the Nature Valley Order of Merit. Your best 4 scores across the year will be counted and the Top-10 players not already qualified for the Grand Final will win a place at the K Club in November.
