Colm Moriarty (Drive Golf Performance) and Richard Kilpatrick (Banbridge GC) shared first place at the Johnston, Mooney & O’Brien PGA Challenge Pro Am at Carton House on Monday.

The duo produced a birdie barrage, carding a pair of six under par 66’s, to finish two shots ahead of third placed David Higgins (Waterville Links).
The winners carded 13 birdies in all on the Montgomerie Course. Colm was two under par after 12 holes before suddenly catching fire. He played his final six holes in five under par, collecting five birdies while dropping a shot at the par five 15th.
Richard, meanwhile, was bogey free in his six birdie round, going to the turn in two under 34 and coming home in four under 32.
David Higgins, and amateur partners, Billy Fanning, Robert Prendercast and Bill Connolly won the team prize with 96 points.
