Mullarney and Rafferty struggling at Patriot All-American

Maynooth University’s Ronan Mullarney and Caolan Rafferty are both inside the Top 50 after two rounds as they compete in the 54-hole Patriot All-American Invitational in Arizona.  

 

 

The event features some of the best players in the NCAA and throughout the championship each player honours a fallen hero or injured soldier by carrying a bag which bears his or her name.

Having opened with scores of 72 and 73, Mullarney is the better placed of the two on a 145 total (+5) which sees him in T40 position while Rafferty returned scores of 74 and 72 which leaves him in T46 position on +6.

At the head of proceedings is Isaiah Jackson from the University of Memphis who carded superb rounds of 67 and 68 for a five under total and he is joined at the top of the leaderboard by Alex Scott from Grand Valley State University with Quade Cummins , University of Oklahoma and Jackson Suber, University of Mississippi one stroke adrift on four under.
