Due to demand The Heritage Golf Resort have added a Blue Tee Challenge to their open week schedule for players of all abilities to try their hand on Ireland’s only Seve Ballesteros design this month.
The Heritage Golf Resort is one of one of Ireland’s best yet toughest parkland tests at 7,319 yards from the pro tees. Open week provides an opportunity to experience the challenge of championship golf at its finest.
Five prominent lakes and a stream meander through the course, bringing water into play on 10 holes. The course is well known for its remarkable 96 beautifully-shaped bunkers as well as its 7,000 trees that adorn the Co. Laois landscape.
The Heritage Golf Resort Open week begins on Monday August 24th with a Singles Stableford competition and runs through to August 30th where there will be a Four-Person Scramble competition with singles, team and senior singles competitions running on the days in between.
Follow in the footsteps of such greats as Seve Ballesteros, Padraig Harrington, Shane Lowry, Justin Rose, John Daly, Vijay Singh, Colin Montgomerie & Nick Faldo, all of whom have teed it up in the Killenard, Co. Laois venue over the years.
