Ireland’s up-and-coming female golfers will take centre stage later this month as the Women’s Irish Challenge returns to Malahide Golf Club from 29-31 July, bringing three days of elite international golf to one of the country’s finest championship venues.
The event forms part of the 2026 LET Access Series – the official development tour to the Ladies European Tour – and will once again showcase many of the brightest emerging talents in women’s golf from across Europe and beyond.
Following a successful inaugural staging in 2025, the tournament returns to Dublin’s north coast with another strong international field competing alongside an exciting home contingent aiming to challenge for victory on home soil.
Leading the tournament interest are Olivia Mehaffey, Canice Screene and Annabel Wilson as well as a host of exciting upcoming amateur players.
The tournament provides a vital pathway for players chasing promotion to the Ladies European Tour, with every stroke carrying significant importance in the season-long Order of Merit race.
Set against the backdrop of the stunning 27-hole Malahide Golf Club, spectators will have the opportunity to watch future stars before they reach the biggest stages in world golf, while also supporting Ireland’s next generation of professionals.
Tournament organisers expect another fantastic week for Irish women’s golf as the event continues to strengthen Ireland’s reputation for hosting world-class golf tournaments and developing female talent.
