Olivia Mehaffey’s T20 saw her finish best of the Irish as Finland’s Noora Komulainen secured her long-awaited first LET title after 14 years, winning the Tipsport Czech Ladies Open in a three-way playoff at Royal Beroun Golf Club.

Komulainen, one shot back entering the final round, produced a brilliant closing 66 (-6), highlighted by birdies on her final four holes. This tied her at 18-under with Australia’s Justice Bosio (who shot a 64) and Sweden’s Lisa Pettersson.

In the sudden-death playoff on the par-5 18th, all three laid up before pitching in. Komulainen’s wedge to six feet proved decisive. After her opponents missed, she sank the birdie putt for victory. Emotional scenes followed as her husband (on the bag) and five-year-old daughter Elli joined the celebration on the green.

“I’ve been on tour for 14 years without a win. This is my first one so it means everything!” Komulainen said. “This is a dream come true.”

Bosio finished as runner-up in her best LET result to date, while Italy’s Anna Zanusso took solo fourth. Ecuador’s Daniela Darquea soared with a career-low 63 for a strong top-five.

Mehaffey, who began the day tied for 11th at -9, made three birdies in a bogey-free 69 but the low final-round scoring saw her fall nine places while Sara Byrne was two strokes further adrift at -10 and tied for 36th and Aine Donegan finished the week tied for 53rd at -6.

Komulainen jumps to ninth in the 2026 LET Order of Merit. The tour heads next to Belgium for the Hulencourt Women’s Open.
