The OFX Irish Legends has become one of the marquee events on the Staysure Legends Tour and you can now register your interest in free tickets here for the 2026 edition which takes place at Carton House from July 10-12.
With major champions, Ryder Cup stars, multiple DP World Tour winners and competitors from all over the globe, this is your chance to see genuine legends of the game tee it up on the Montgomerie Course at the County Kildare venue, with our very own Paul McGinley one of the headline acts.
“I’m delighted that the Staysure Legends Tour is coming back to Ireland – the Irish love their golf and the players always feel so welcome here,” said the 2014 European Ryder Cup captain and four-time European Tour winner. “Carton House is an incredible venue with so much history, and all the great Irish players have passed through here whilst on the Golf Ireland programmes. It’s a full circle moment coming back to play here. I’m looking forward to seeing the home crowds cheer on the Legends up close and personal.”
The Montgomerie Course has played host to the Irish Open on three occasions, most recently in 2013 where Paul Casey prevailed, and McGinley feels that its unique terrain will provide an ideal test for the Legends Tour pros and will identify a worthy champion.
“It’s got a links feel to it,” he said. “It requires good iron play, and you can get what you need out of the course. It’s a tough golf course and it will produce a really good winner down here.”

General admission tickets are free for all three tournament days, but you can fully immerse yourself in the tournament by availing of either the pre-tournament Championship Pro-Am or the Legends Tour Playing Experience packages.
With the Championship Pro-Am, teams of three amateurs play alongside a Legends Tour pro in a team format, enjoying all the inside the ropes benefits, including access to the practice range and the Players’ Lounge post-round for dining and the prizegiving ceremony.
The Legends Tour Playing Experience offers the opportunity to immerse yourself even deeper, with everything that the Championship Pro-Am package entails, plus two additional rounds in tournament play alongside two further Legends, with amateurs competing in a Stableford competition and the leading 15 players advancing to play in the final round where the overall amateur winner will be crowned.
Optional accommodation packages are also available, and you can register your interest in one of the playing experiences here.
Last year’s OFX Irish Legends was held at Mount Juliet with South African James Kingston birdieing five of the final six holes to win in dramatic fashion, finishing one stroke ahead of Englishman and former Ryder Cup player Peter Baker, and two fellow South Africans in Darren Fichardt and Keith Horne.
