The KPMG Women’s Irish Open has announced a two-year extension of its premium partnership with Amgen, a leading independent biotechnology company, which will see the collaboration continue through 2027.
The renewed commitment underscores both organisations’ dedication to advancing women’s sport and to amplifying the tournament’s influence across Ireland and internationally.
Since the tournament’s return to the Ladies European Tour calendar in 2022, the KPMG Women’s Irish Open has seen year-on-year growth in attendance, media reach, and economic contribution. The 2024 edition at Carton House welcomed nearly 40,000 spectators and reached a global audience of over 100 million, while contributing €7 million in direct spending and generating an estimated €4.6 million in economic output.
“We’re proud to extend our partnership with the KPMG Women’s Irish Open through to 2027,” said Paul Greene, Vice President, Site Operations, Amgen Ireland.
“This tournament exemplifies the values we hold at Amgen – a commitment to excellence, inclusion and community impact.”
Cian Branagan, CEO of ForeFront Group, the official event promoter also welcomed the announcement with enthusiasm: “We are absolutely thrilled that Amgen have extended their partnership of the event. Their continued investment is a tremendous endorsement of what we’re building with the KPMG Women’s Irish Open. Together, we’re committed to delivering a world-class tournament experience for players, fans, and partners alike.”
