Niall Kearney picked up his third win of the 2025 PGA in Ireland season with a one-shot victory at the sun-kissed Irish Life Druids Glen Pro-Am.
Kearney carded a four-under-par round of 68 to hold off the K Club’s Liam Grehan.
The Royal Dublin man was in cruise control, firing birdies on the third, fifth, sixteenth and eighteenth to complete a bogey-free round.
Kearney has been balancing his time between the PGA in Ireland region and the Clutch Pro Tour and his game is certainly very sharp heading into a big summer which includes two-day events in Donegal, the K Club and the 54-hole Irish PGA Championship in Monkstown where he will defend his crown.
“It’s always nice to win, isn’t it,” he said afterwards.
“I’m going to keep playing on the region because I love playing on the region and I love playing competitive golf period,” he said. “And I’m really looking forward to going to Monkstown to defend my Irish PGA Championship. That one is definitely penciled in!”
In a share of third place in Druids Glen was Cormac Sharvin on two-under while Wexford’s Sean Hopkins also carded a round of 70.
Paul Eivers, David Higgins and Colm Moriarty rounded off the under par scoring with rounds of 71.
