Tim Rice captured his third victory of the 2025 PGA in Ireland Regional campaign with a two-stroke victory in the Foxrock Pro-Am, closing the gap to Simon Thornton at the top of the Elavon Order of Merit.

The Limerick man and 2024 Elavon Order of Merit winner had gotten his first win of the season at the 30th Anniversary Rathsallagh Pro-Am in early May, and shared first place in Rathfarnham towards the end of the month, and he’s now marked his first start in June with the win in South Dublin.

Cloverhill’s Keith Shannon and David Ryan of East Cork shared second on -3, Kilkenny’s Jimmy Bolger finished solo fourth on -2, and Paul Eivers, Neil O’Briain and Stephen Barry all shared fifth place after ending the day on -1.

There was little time to rest for Rice after carding his five-under round as he headed west and across the breadth of the country to Carne for the two-day Vermilion Energy Carne Pro-Am which begins on Saturday and where almost all of the region’s big guns will be competing.
